NEONATOLOGY

NEONATOLOGY

The unit of neonatology works under Pediatric department. It operates 24 hours per day and 7 days per week and deals with new born babies aged 0-28days. It is staffed by registered nurses and midwives. It deals with routine neonatal care, neonatal infections, Asphyxia, neonatal complications, low birth weight and prematurity management.

PEDIATRICS

Patients receiving service are aged from zero to 15 years old male and female work 24 hours to 24 hours. They get prevention, curative, rehabilitative and palliative care for different diseases. It is staffed by certified and registered nurses with experiences in the management of different pediatric diseases and more in pediatric emergency. There is also a permanent physician who does day to day follow up for the patients.
